What is oneworld?

oneworld is an airline alliance that brings together a collection of the world’s biggest and best airlines - and around 30 affiliates - with more signed up to join soon.

oneworld members:

  • airberlin.
  • American Airlines.
  • British Airways.
  • Cathay Pacific Airways.
  • Finnair.
  • Iberia.
  • Japan Airlines.
  • LAN Airlines.
  • Qantas.
  • Royal Jordanian.
  • S7 Airlines.

Affiliate members include: Austria’s NIKI, American Eagle, China’s Dragonair, Denmark’s SUN-AIR, LAN Argentina, LAN Ecuador, LAN Peru and South Africa’s Comair and the transatlantic premium service carrier OpenSkies.

Future members:

  • Malaysia Airlines, which will board on 1 February 2013.
  • Qatar Airways, which is on track to join on the second half of 2013 or early 2014.
  • SriLankan Airlines, which is expected to board during 2013.
