What exceptions are there for carrying liquid on-board?

Exceptions to the liquid policy are available for medication, baby foods (including milk) and special dietary needs or other medical requirements. These exceptions are not subject to the 100ml (3.4 fluid ounces) rule.

For medical and dietary needs liquids and gels passengers should provide proof of the need to carry these e.g. a prescription from a doctor. The name on the prescription must match the person carrying the item.

For baby foods, the amount carried should be commensurate with the duration of the journey.
