Flights to and from Colombo International Airport operating as scheduled

A series of bomb blasts have recently struck churches and hotels across Sri Lanka resulting in many casualties and injuries.

Colombo International airport (CMB) continues to be operational and Qatar Airways flights are still operating as per schedule, however, we appreciate that some passengers may wish to change their immediate travel plans.

To address such requests and give flexibility to our customers, Qatar Airways will permit customers to make changes free of charge where they hold a confirmed Qatar Airways ticket issued on or before 21 April 2019 for travel to/from CMB between 22 April 2019 to 30 June 2019, inclusive.

The refund policy applies to passengers who hold a confirmed reservation and a confirmed Qatar Airways ticket issued on or before 21 April 2019 for travel to/from/via CMB between 2 May 2019 and 21  April 2020, on any QR flight, either point-to-point or through traffic, including code-share and/or interline feeders.

Eligible customers should contact their local ticket office, details of which can be found at www.qatarairways.com/en-gb/worldwide-offices.html

Passengers departing from Colombo are advised to reach the airport at least 4 hours prior to their flight departure due to potential additional airport security checks, congestion and delays.
